Free monthly support group lead by Dr Rebecca Hayes to improve access to information on the menopause based on British Menopause Society Guidelines and NICE.
There will be a 30minute talk on various topics from non hormonal and lifestyle measures to HRT and health risks. The menopause transition is a window of opportunity to improve your long term health and review your cardiovascular and osteoporosis risk factors. Followed by 30mins general Q&A and socialising.
There will demonstrations on different HRT products and how to apply. In the future Dr Hayes plans to invite guest speakers covering breast cancer risk and other relevant topics.
The next talk will be 8-9pm 21st March at N197 Chiswick Fire Station.

Dr Rebecca Hayes wants to get to know her patients and really understand their needs and deliver a bespoke personalized service. Spending an hour with you covering all aspects of the menopause and assessing your over all health and risk factors that are associated with the menopause enables a holistic approach.
Covering contraception, osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease as well as the different types of HRT. Going through your choices and options with product demonstration box empowers you to make the right choice for you.
You will receive a personalised report covering everything discussed and treatment plan.
Dr Rebecca Hayes works with the local Chiswick associated health professionals such as local acupuncture, aromatherapy, physiotherapy and menopause yoga specialists to guide through a complete care package and named onward referrals. She also knows and works with the local independent pharmacies on Chiswick High Street.
Dr Rebecca Hayes has done several free female health talks at locations in Chiswick and Devonshire Road such as Fashion boutique AprilMae and Tamp Coffee.
If needed Dr Rebecca Hayes can also write a summary letter for your NHS GP. As Dr Hayes works in both the NHS and private sector she is aware how the two systemics can work together and complement each other to achieve the best care for patients.
Dr Rebecca Hayes is a GP and menopause specialist and is passionate about improving menopause care and empowering women to make the best choices for them. She is a member of the British Menopause Society and in the process of completing Specialist Accreditation with the BMS.
She has been a qualified GP for just over a decade working in both the NHS and private sector. She has a special interest in female health, contraception services and menopause. She is the Clinical Lead for Prime Health Partners a private GP practice and leads their menopause clinic in Swiss Cottage. She has set up and run menopause services in the City and is able to bring this experience to her current practice. She also works in the NHS at Knightsbridge Medical Centre. Living in Chiswick she was asked to also set up a menopause service the local area.
Dr Rebecca Hayes has set up the FREE monthly Menopause Support Group in Chiswick to improve access to all about the menopause.
In her free time she is a passionate gardener and enjoys growing dahlias as a hobby. She gives away free bunches of dahlias in the summer months for to raise awareness and promote female health in the Chiswick area. Last year she gave away over 100 bunches of flowers and give free talks on the menopause and breast cancer.
